  • Does 22 CLaN offer standardized outdoor education programs?
    Yes! 22 CLaN customizes programs to align with educational standards and objectives, covering topics such as: Environmental science Teamwork & leadership skills Survival techniques Character development Wilderness first aid Our programs are designed to be educational, engaging, and unforgettable.
  • Does 22 CLaN work with both small and large groups?
    Yes! 22 CLaN accommodates groups of all sizes. Whether you're planning a large school expedition or a small team-building retreat, we can customize your adventure to meet your needs. Contact us for details on pricing and group options.
  • Can 22 CLaN organize trips for different age groups?
    Yes! Many schools and organizations design multi-year adventure programs with 22CLaN. For example: 6th Grade: 3-day residential science camp 7th Grade: Camping trip focused on self-reliance and adventure skills 8th Grade: First Aid & Rescue training program Each year builds upon the last, ensuring a progressive and exciting experience for participants.
  • How far in advance should I book my trip?
    22CLaN is equipped to organize trips on short notice, sometimes in as little as one week. However, many groups book their trips well in advance to secure preferred dates.
  • Do I need to make a deposit to 22 CLaN or to my school/organization ?
    Once you have selected your 22CLaN program, your school or organization will need to submit a signed agreement along with a deposit to secure the booking. You need to get in touch with your school or organization for more details
  • Are we staying in tents or cabins?
    22CLaN offers both residential camp experiences and camping trips. Residential camps have cabins with bunk beds, indoor bathrooms, and meal services, while camping trips provide the thrill of staying in tents in beautiful outdoor locations. Specific trip details will include any special packing requirements, but in general, 22CLaN provides all necessary tents, food, and supplies for a fantastic adventure.
  • Can parents visit their child during a trip?
    For security reasons, parents are not permitted to visit the camp unless pre-approved by 22CLaN and the school. If a parent needs to pick up or drop off a child during a trip, prior arrangements must be made, and the 22CLaN team must be notified upon arrival and departure.
  • What about meals during the trip?
    22CLaN offers high-quality meals to keep participants energized. Residential camps provide three hot meals daily plus snacks, with menus designed to be healthy and delicious. Participants should indicate dietary restrictions in advance to ensure proper arrangements.
  • What if a participant needs medication during the trip?
    Medications should be placed in their original packaging, sealed in a labeled plastic bag, and given to the trip leader or medical supervisor before departure. Epi-pens and inhalers should be provided in duplicate, with one staying with the participant and another with the trip leader.
  • What should I bring to an adventure trip?
    Participants should refer to the provided packing list to help prepare for their trip. Some of the most essential items include a sleeping bag,toiletries, and two pairs of closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots. Checking the expected weather conditions will help you decide if you need warm clothing, jackets, or rain gear. Packing light is encouraged, and a medium-sized duffel bag is the most practical option for your 22CLaN trip. Additionally, each participant should bring a small daypack with a water bottle for use during activities. Be sure to check the list of prohibited items, which may include electronic devices, food, and any other items not permitted on your adventure.
